Munkegård recessed designed recessed ceiling light by Arne Jacobsen for Louis Poulsen. The Munkegaard lamp was created in 1955 by Arne Jacobsen for the Munkegaard School in Gentofte, which is located north of Copenhagen. The built-in lamp's round shade exemplifies Arne Jacobsen's intention to simplify, conceal, and clearly designate the light source. These lights should be inset into the wall or ceiling. In original condition and sold AS-IS without brackets. Photos to come.
