Solid Tubular Metal Frame in Teal Blue with Sheet Metal Cubby and Faux Wood Formica Top. Tubax was founded in 1948 by Jan Vits of the Werkhuizen Vits firm. Tubax NV would grow to be one of Belgium's major metal furniture producers. The company peaked in 1963, with around 200 employees. During this time, Tubax created the popular Willy van der Meeren designs, among other things. This lovely piece, from that era, is in original condition with some visible wear and scratching consistent with age and use. Several Available in varying degrees of wear, some with school house graffiti.
