This coffee table is a striking example of Mid-Century modern design. It's form is inspired by the work of Angelo Mangiarotti, an Italian architect and designer who is known for his innovative use of materials and sculptural forms. The table has a bowed square top with a thick rounded edge, and a triangular 3-paneled pedestal base. It's made of lovely cream-colored travertine stone with beautiful veining and a semi-matte surface. It is in good condition with wear consistent with age and use.
