One of Martin Visser's well-known Easy Chair Designs of the 1960's - Lounge Chair with Tubular Chrome Metal Frame and Woven Rattan Seat and Back, with Rattan Wrap Detailing on Arm Rests. Martin Visser began working for Spectrum in 1954 as designer and head of collection. He had an architectural and civil engineering background, and his designs were influenced by functionalism, industrial design, and craft-built furniture. Characteristics of his work include welded tubing and clearly defined forms.
