Mid-Century, set of 6 Verner Panton style stacking wicker rattan chairs. Reminiscent of the Panton chair which, in the annals of furniture design, is an absolute classic. That chair was designed by Verner Panton in 1959 and developed for mass production in association with Vitra in 1967. It stands as the first cantilever-designed, single-piece chair constructed entirely of plastic. The same bold style with organic curves that is characteristic for that iconic design is captured in these chairs. The chairs are in good original condition with some visible wear consistent with age and use.
