Rare original black enameled tubular metal frame with hat rack and delicate wire hooks in red and yellow by Coen de Vries. He is known as a functionalist designer who strove for good, affordable and modern furniture. De Vries fulfilled a pioneering role by having his designs made in-house by a furniture maker and selling them in his own shop "De Sleutel". In response to the lack of materials and space in post WWII Holland, he came up with smart solutions for multifunctional and expandable furniture.
