Beautiful, Mid-Century, small, Kalmar manufactured brass chandelier outfitted with 10 layered linear ice glass pieces highlighting the 5 brass tubular sockets. This piece has a brass canopy and is suspended by a brass chain. 40 watt max per socket. Austrian manufacturing company Kalmar became well known in the post war years for high quality modern design and its designer J.T. Kalmar took his place as a pre-eminent Mid-Century product visionary. The company flourished, producing light fittings for prominent Austrian architects and designers. This piece is a beautiful example of the company's best work. In original condition with wear consistent with age and use.
