French Mid-Century, 1950's, brass and white enameled metal "Picture Lamp" wall sconces with pull switches and shades that rotate and can be used as an uplight, downlight, or anywhere in between. Designed by highly acclaimed French Post-War design luminary Jacques Biny (1913-1976) for the Societé Lita Groupe Mazda lighting company out of Lamotte-Beuvron, France. There are two available, one has polished brass the other is a darker more matte brass. Both are in original condition with some visible wear including light scratches and patina. The wear is consistent with its age and use.
