French Mid-Century, 1950s, Jacques Adnet-Style carved wood faux "Bamboo" standing floor lamp with handwoven wicker shade. Inspired by the work of French Modernist legend Jacques Adnet, who's renowned for using bamboo as a tromp l'oeil for his frequently leather-covered lights. Like Adnet's designs, this light is not actually constructed from bamboo but rather a from a made-to-look like bamboo wooden stem and base. In original condition with some age appropriate wear and signs of usage. Shade is 20 x 20 x 14.75.
