This oak side table from the Dutch Art Deco "Amsterdam School" has a round top, an X-shaped base, and four legs with a tasteful notching. The early modernist lines and use of exquisite woods like mahogany and sturdy oak are hallmarks of the Amsterdam School. To ensure that everything complemented the overall design, designers like Paul Bromberg, K.P.C. de Bazel, Anton Kurvers, and J.J. Zijffers, created a variety of furniture, including tables, chairs, and armchairs.
