Mini Willy Van Der Meeren Industrial desks for Tubax. Great entry table, or vanity as well with it's printed laminate top, solid black enameled metal wire frame and black sheet metal shelf. Founded in 1948 by Jan Vits of the Werkhuizen Vits firm, Tubax NV would grow to be one of Belgium's major metal furniture producers. In 1963, with around 200 employees, Tubax was at it peak and began creating the popular Willy van der Meeren designs. This industrial style writing desk, from that era is in original condition with some visible wear and enamel loss consistent with its age and regular use. There is a 24.75" wide seat clearance on the underside of the shelf that is 4.25" high. Priced individually.
