Mid-Century Coffee and Tea Service with Teak Accents. Coffee and Tea Pot, with Creamer, Sugar Bowl and Serving Tray. Teak was inset to the tray for a more elegant look, usually seen with formica inset panel. In Otherwise Original Condition with Visible Wear and Scratches. The Service Set was "designed" by Jean Picquot in Northampton, England, in the 1950s. However, Jean Piquot "the designer" and Picquot Ware were dreamt up by British manufacturer Burrage & Boyde in the 1930s in an effort to capitalize on the reputation French manufactured aluminum had acquired.The "silver" pieces of this service set were cast from magnalium, an aluminum alloy. It can be polished to a mirror finish.
