Beautiful 1970's two drawer desk in lacquered metal by famed French designer Pierre Vandel (b. 1939 France) with an inset painted glass top. This desk has simple lines, and refined details including inset brass toned lines that outline the desk and highlight the cut-out detail in the front. It has gold toned anodized aluminum handles. In very original condition with visible wear, including scratches, chips and enamel loss. This has been well loved and used. Wear is consistent with its age and use. Shown with a modernist Gastone Rinaldi high back chair (S668).
