Pair of Mid-Century teak and formica nightstands by Dutch Post-War design icon Cees Braakman for the venerable and acclaimed Pastoe. company Beautiful waterfall design with natural wood tone and attractively contrasting white formica top and drawer. Braakman was almost literally born to design for the company, having been born above the Pastoe furniture factory where his father worked as a floor manager and where he himself would create some of the most recognizable pieces of Dutch post-war design. These nightstands are a beautiful example of his output and are in original condition with the original Pastoe tag. Some wear consistent with age and use. Priced as a set.
