This Mid-Century, 'Oslo' sofa was designed by innovative and prolific Dutch designer Gerard van den Berg for the Montis company, the iconic furniture manufacturer of which Van den Berg was the co-founder and owner.. This wonderfully designed piece has a gorgeous, thick, natural toned buffalo leather seat that rests on a laminated birch wood frame in a canvas support sling. It is in original condition with some visible wear, and scratches which created a lovely patina, all consistent with its age and normal use.
