Brutalist De Puydt (attr) Carved Wood Beds

Mid-Century, pine frame twin beds with new, white canvas mattresses. Belgian manufacturer De Puydt attributed. The bed frames are outfitted with a tilting mechanism for raising the upper portion of the mattress but, due to the thickness of the mattresses that the beds come with, this will not work as they are now. However, should the mattresses be changed for a thinner type than the feature will be functional again. The frames have nicely defined wood grain patterns and the headboards are handsomely adorned with hand carved wood accents. As beautiful as they are comfortable these are perfect for an elevated kids room or elegant guest room. In original condition with some visible wear and scratching consistent with age and use.
