1930's Pair of hand-woven rope and wood armchairs by Swedish designer Axel Larsson for Svenska Möbelfabrikerna Bodafors. Bodafors made furniture for the affluent through the 1930s. However, a new goal of manufacturing reasonably priced furniture for the general public revived the business starting in 1930 following the stock market meltdown. These are very special 1930s pieces and are in lightly refinished condition, with some visible wear, including clear loss of rope to one of the seats in particular.
