Handsome, Mid-Century, wooden frame with woven rope seat and back armchairs. Reminiscent of (and possibly inspired by) the designs of early modernist Dutch designer Bas van Pelt. These chairs were manufactured for the department store Vroom & Dreesmann in the 1950's and have some age appropriate wear, consistent with their age and usage. Three available, priced individually.
