F584 Swivel Lounge Chair by Geoffrey Harcourt for Artifort

Acclaimed British Mid-Century designer Geoffrey Harcourt designed the "F584" swivel chair for Dutch manufacturer Artifort in 1967. Its inviting shape was inspired by a girlfriend who would like to sit down curled up in cross-legs. His design combined all the comfort of an easy chair with enough width to accommodate any seating position. The thick eggshell leather upholstery on this chair handsomely complements the white enameled metal swivel bases. In good overall condition, with some visible wear consistent with its age and use.
