Mies van der Rohe / Netherlands

Modernist Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe attributed chrome X base and glass top coffee table. Originally called the "Dessau table", it is incorrectly associated with the furniture for the German pavilion at the Barcelona International Exhibition in 1929. In 1930 it was used for the first time as part of the Tugendhat House in Brno. Frame is in original condition with visible wear and patina, consistent with its age and use.
