His first design (1970) was the Hebi Lamp, which was a huge success, with thousands sold across Europe. It is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and is named after the Italian word for snake because of its flexible structure and rotatable shade. Great desk or bedside reading light. It is in original condition with visible wear consistent with age and use. This light takes a European candelabra bulb (easily found online), but has a US plug.
