Mid-Century, 1960's Cleopatra wide daybed by A.R. Cordemeyer with teak ends and enameled dark gray metal frame. Comes with canary yellow mattress and bolster. Manufactured by Royal Auping, the Cleopatra divan bed was developed by Cordemeyer in 1953 to fit in with the newly updated, more streamlined bedroom style of the 1950s. Its sleek lines and minimalist approach made it perfect for the burgeoning Modernist movement in Post War Dutch Design. Other sizes and color ways are available and listed separately.
