Mid-Century Kalmar Flush Mount Ceiling Light

Chrome and glass flush mount ceiling light designed by J.T. Kalmar for Franken KG. Light has a flush base and 13 lights with tiered pressed glass cube shades. Kalmar, known for producing luxury luminaires and bespoke lighting, was founded in 1881. In the post-war era J.T. Kalmar rose to prominence as a Mid-Century product designer, and his name became synonymous with high-quality modern design. This piece has a newly added mount and some visible wear consistent with its age and use.
