Handsome, Amsterdam School Oak Mirror with shelf and carved detail. The Amsterdam School (1910s–1930s) was the Dutch counterpart to Art Deco. During this time, designers such as Bromberg, de Bazel, and Kurvers, worked with every facet of design, from decor to architecture, in order to harmonize their spaces. This piece is a lovely example of the style, is in original condition with visible wear, including light scratches, some desilvering (dark spots on the mirror) along the edges, which happens with age. Wear appropriate for age and use.
