4 Piece 'Camaleonda' sofa in gray velvet fabric Designed by Mario Bellini for B&B Italia, 1970. The modular sofa comes with three 36” wide seats and one 25” smaller seat. All seats come with a backrest and one includes an armrest. Originally designed in 1970 and commercially released in 1972, Bellini combined two terms that accurately depict the form and purpose of the sofa to create the name Camaleonda. The first is derived from the Italian word "chameleonte," which means “chameleon,” and the second is derived from the word "onda," which means "wave." This sofa is in good original condition with visible wear consistent with its age and use. One C&B black sofa table included, measuring 11.75” x 35.25” x 14.25”.
