Original Very Rare C&B Italia 'Camaleonda' Sofa Set by Mario Bellini

Early 1970-1972 production 7 Piece 'Camaleonda' sofa by Mario Bellini for C&B Italia (which become B&B Italia in 1973) in beige velvet. Comes with three black step side table pieces. Designed in 1970 and commercially released in 1972, Bellini combined two terms that accurately depict the form and purpose of the sofa to create the name Camaleonda. The first is derived from the Italian word "chameleonte," which means “chameleon,” and the second from the word "onda," which means "wave." This sofa is in good original condition with visible wear consistent with its age and use.
