Mid-Century, 1960's Cleopatra narrow daybed by A. R. Cordemeyer with white painted teak ends and enameled white metal frame. Comes with Pauline Sapphire Blue fabric mattress and bolster. Manufactured by Royal Auping, the Cleopatra divan bed was developed by Cordemeijer in 1953 to fit in with the newly updated, more streamlined bedroom style of the 1950s. Its sleek lines and minimalist approach made it perfect for the burgeoning Modernist movement in Post War Dutch Design.
