Handsome Mid-Century two seater Durlet sofa in thick cognac leather with heavy patina. The Durlet company was founded in 1966 by Egide Durlet and from the start the company opted for manufacturing top quality and innovative design. Then, in 1970, the company resolutely opted for using leather as its core material. Until that point, Durlet mainly worked with fabric. With this shift the company quickly became known for its extremely selective collection of leathers which greatly contributed to the company's reputation. This stealth sofa sits low to the ground, and has rich cognac leather with big stitching. In well loved original condition with heavy wear.
