Belgian Mid-Century, cognac buffalo leather loveseat by Durlet. The Durlet company was founded in 1966 by Egide Durlet and from the start the company opted for manufacturing top quality and innovative design. Then, in 1970, the company resolutely opted for using leather as its core material. Until that point, Durlet mainly worked with fabric. With this shift the company quickly became known for its extremely selective collection of leathers which greatly contributed to the company's reputation. This beautiful loveseat, in original condition with visible wear and beautiful patina, is a stunning example of the company's adherence to its goal to marry the highest possible quality with ambitious design.
