Dutch Mid-Century, Gerard van den Berg inspired, large "Manou" bamboo base sofa with leather cushions. Manufactured by Mondileder in the 1970s, this wonderfully comfortable sofa features a skillfully crafted frame from thick, dark-lacquered bent "Manou" bamboo, bound together with hand-woven rattan bindings. The dark frame contrasts beautifully with the soft, patch-worked, well patinated brown leather upholstery. An inviting piece that is in original condition with some age-appropriate signs of usage and wear.
