Set of 6 Early Edition Friso Kramer Revolt Chairs

Originally designed in 1953 by Friso Kramer for Ahrend de Cirkel. The Revolt chair is widely considered by the Dutch to be the perfect chair. A system of folding sheet steel was developed for the construction of this chair which when combined with the nylon fiber seating, it allowed it to be both remarkably light and flexible. The color is a bone white with black enameled metal frames, all in very original condition with visible wear to seats and enameled frames. A set in red (as pictured) is also available (S231 RD).
