Two-tiered plant stand with slender wire-rod construction and square perforated mesh shelves, in the manner of Mathieu Mategot, the designer popularized perforated and mesh metal furniture. Four slender wire-rod legs support two square perforated mesh shelves on this tall, narrow stand. The legs angle very slightly outward at the base and end in small ball feet, giving the piece a light, almost graphic silhouette. The lower shelf measures 10 W x 10 D x 12 H inches. The stand shows wear consistent with age and use, including some enamel loss.
