Massimo Scolari for Giorgetti "Zeno" Beech and Ebony Desk, 1990s

A handsomely crafted and appealingly asymmetric Zeno" desk designed by Massimo Scolari for pioneering Italian manufacturer Giorgetti S.p.A in the 1990's. This desk, that Scolari himself considers one of his finest achievements, is made of a clean beech frame with a nicely contrasting Macassar Ebony inset top that is accentuated with aluminum hardware. The desk's leg has an attached "floating" stack of four spacious drawers. Drawers measure: 16" x 16" x 16". Piece is in original condition with some age appropriate wear.
