Impressive Tubax attributed Industrial coat rack with three chrome tube arms creating a triangular freestanding coat rack with 6 hooks and center weight. Tubax was founded in 1948 by Jan Vits of the Werkhuizen Vits firm. Tubax NV would grow to be one of Belgium's major metal furniture producers. The company peaked in 1963, with around 200 employees. During this time, Tubax created the popular Willy van der Meeren designs, among other things. This lovely piece, from that era, is in original condition with minimal wear and black rubber foot caps.
