Beautiful Mid-Century woven basket with handle made from young willow branches. When used fresh, they are flexible and harden to make a sturdy frame. This technique was commonly used to build fences in the Netherlands at the beginning of the century and still used today. This catch all basket could be used for flower collection or as a magazine rack. In original condition with wear consistent with age and use.
