Black ceramic Royal Sphinx "Riga" pitcher or milk jug. Royal (meaning Koninklijke) Sphinx, founded in 1864, was a Dutch company based in Maastricht that initially produced primarily earthenware and, later, among other things, sanitary ware. This piece, part of the "Riga" series from 1964, is in original condition with some wear consistent with its age and use. Other cups also available (O030) and listed separately.
